Welcome to MechMem
Every machine has two manuals. The first is written by the manufacturer. The second is written by everyone who has ever owned, operated, repaired, and maintained it. MechMem is where your company writes and preserves that second manual.
Getting Started Guide
1. Attach an Asset Passport
Print and attach an Asset Passport barcode or QR code to every piece of equipment. Place it somewhere easy to find, scan, and protected from damage.
2. Scan the Asset Passport
Scanning the Asset Passport opens everything your company knows: specs, tasks, repair logs, company docs, photos, and a live Master Chat.
3. Record What Happens
Use MechMem while you work. Record maintenance, repairs, parts replaced, photos, voice notes, and observations. Every repair adds to history.
4. Collaborate in Master Chat
Every asset has a shared Master Chat. Everyone working on that machine sees the same conversation. The AI helps troubleshoot as a team partner.
5. Preserve What Was Learned
After a repair, save important lessons as Knowledge Artifacts. These are reviewed by managers before becoming permanent memory to teach the AI.
6. Help the Next Technician
The next person who scans the Passport doesn't start from zero. They inherit the experience your company has built over years of owning and maintaining it.
What is an Asset Passport?
An immutable, globally unique digital document connected directly to a physical machine. It stays with the asset through ownership transfers, preserving its lifecycle records.
Public-Safe Shielding
Owners retain 100% control. Private logs, internal costs, mechanic chats, and diagnostic summaries are locked. Only approved specs and safety contacts are ever visible here.
Instant Scan & Verify
Simply scan the barcode sticker on any machine to verify its operational readiness, report issues, or inspect safety passports in real-time.
